As of March 24, 2020, the Adams County Courthouse and Government Center are open for essential business between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. The Adams County Health Department is the lead agency in dealing with the coronavirus pandemic in Adams County. The Adams County Commissioners, other elected officials and department heads are relying on information obtained from the Health Department in the daily and sometimes hourly assessment of how county government should function. If you have business in the Courthouse or Adams County Government Center other than court-related business, please call each individual elected official’s office to make an appointment. Please only enter the Courthouse with prior approval or a court notice. The Board of Elections will remain open for general business and absentee ballot applications.
